Peach Cobbler
By stormyswain
In the Southern states, peach cobbler is considered soul food. It's great at barbques, with grandma's sunday dinner and even cold for breakfast the next day. Cobbler is prepared many ways and can have many different fruits in it, the traditional peaches are usually a favorite with everyone. To dress up peach cobbler, use icecream, slices of uncooked peaches or raspberries. Peach cobbler is easy to reheat, which makes it a great dessert to prepare the night before having guests for dinner, or an event.
Consider using fresh peaches, for the best cobbler. Usually canned peaches are chosen, because they are fast, but fresh peaches add a flavor that canned don't.
Serve peach cobbler as a sundae - layer a spoonful of cobbler and a spoon full of icecream, until you reach the top of the sundae glass - add whipped cream or cool whip at the top and refrigerate until ready to eat.
